Museum of the labour collective
The museum of the labour collective of the Sary-Bulak Antimony Works opened in the house of culture at Rudnik in 1981, for the twentieth anniversary of the mine. Its four rooms show the geology of the Sary-Bulak ore field, the sinking of Shaft No. 1 in 1958 to 1961, the work of the Chatkal smelter under the 1971 Antimony Expansion Directive, and the crisis and restart of the 1990s.
The collection includes mineral specimens of stibnite and cinnabar, miners' lamps and self-rescuers, the first ingot cast at Chatkal in 1964, photographs, and the banners and medals of the labour collective.

Miners' memorial
The miners' memorial stands beside the headframe of Shaft No. 1. It carries the names of the miners and metallurgists of Sary-Bulak and Chatkal who have lost their lives at work since 1958. It was unveiled in 2013, a year after four miners were killed in a rockfall in the old stopes of Shaft No. 2 in February 2012.
Each year on Miners' Day, the last Sunday of August, the labour collective lays wreaths at the memorial.
