The Chatkal Chemical Smelting Complex produces high-purity antimony trioxide by re-volatilising refined antimony metal under controlled conditions. Antimony trioxide is used mainly as a flame-retardant synergist in plastics and textiles, and in glass, including glass for solar panels.
