Mine rescue
A mine rescue unit is on duty at Sary-Bulak at all times and also covers the Kemer and Kyzyl-Jar mines. Mine rescue teams take part in training exercises every quarter.
Health
Underground workers and smelter workers have a medical examination every year at the polyclinics of Rudnik and the Chatkal settlement, including a chest X-ray. Dust suppression is used at the crushing plants and underground.
