The Combine employs about 4,700 people at Sary-Bulak, Chatkal and the head office in Talas. We recruit miners, engineers, metallurgists, chemists, electricians, drivers and office staff.
Restart Programme: first-stage recruitment
Recruitment for the first stage of the Restart Programme opened on 26-10-2026. About 420 posts are open at the Sary-Bulak processing works and at Chatkal. Applicants from Lower Naryn and Chu districts have priority, and former employees of the Combine are invited to apply. All posts have written contracts and are paid on the current wage scale, set out in the Collective agreement. Company buses will run from Lower Naryn and Chu for first-stage workers.

Retraining for former employees and new applicants is paid from the ISEZ Government's retraining fund and is given at the Chatkal technical lyceum.
